About me
Ahlan wa sahlan! I’m Michael Sabry, but everyone calls me Micky. I’m a licensed tour guide based in Cairo, and I have been guiding guests in English and German since 2007.
I love bringing Egypt’s 5,000 years of history to life: the stories behind the pharaohs, the meaning of the hieroglyphs and the everyday life of the people who built these monuments. Every tour is private and tailored to your pace and interests, whether you are a first-time visitor, a history enthusiast or travelling with family.
I work with Travco in Cairo, so I can also help arrange hotels, transfers, flights within Egypt and Nile cruises.
